WQW 2077 Quilt Challenge

Terms and Conditions

1. Persons wishing to enter the challenge must complete the official entry form and submit it along with the $25 entry pack fee. The form can be obtained by:

  • Hard copy from The Patchwork Gallery and then submitted by post, hand delivered or faxed.

  • By completing the Online Web form (below) and submitting electronically.

  • Downloading the form from the website by clicking here and then submitting by post, hand delivered or faxed.

2. 25% of the front surface of the quilt must visibly contain the challenge fabric.

3. The quilt must have a 4” (10cm) hanging sleeve the full width of the top of the quilt.

4. Quilts must have a label in the back bottom corner of the quilt which includes the Quilt-makers name, quilt name, quilt dimensions and techniques used.

5. Completed Challenge Quilts must be received by no later than last post or hand delivered by 5.00 pm EST on 15th September 2007.

6. No late entries will be accepted.

7. The judge’s decision is final.

8. All care will be taken with entries but liability will not extend beyond the insurance limitations as expressed by The Patchwork Gallery Insurer.

9. Challenge contestants must agree to allow photography of their quilt and the image of the quilt to be used in articles on The Patchwork Gallery website to promote the Watsonia Quilt Wander. Quilts will be credited, but no compensation or gratuities paid for use.

10. Quilts must have a 4” ( 10cm) hanging sleeve the full width of the top of the quilt.

11. Quilts must have a label in the bottom corner of the quilt which includes the Quilt-maker’s name, quilt dimensions, techniques used and completion date.

12. Quilts can be picked up personally or sent back to the Quilt-maker by supplied pre-paid postpak after 23rd October 2007.

13. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email as soon as results are available.
